Paintball TIps – The Proper Way To Use The Snake The snake is one of the hardest and most misplayed bunkers on the field. Teams should know how to play the snake offensively and defensively. The snake is usually set on the '50' or mid field and off to the side running parallel with the tape line. A good team will always try to get one or sometimes even two players in the snake. Here are some tips that might make playing the snake a little easier.

	1) Walk the field before hand and see where the shooting lanes are from the snake and which bunkers your going to be able to cover so you don't have to do it in the game.

	2) Usually there will be a back stand up can placed so that a back player can cover the snake player from muggings. Make sure if your are covering the snake player that you give him sufficient cover fire and watch for the other team setting up muggings on the snake player.

	3) Try to get a player in the snake as quickly as possible but if you send a player in the snake and he gets eliminated I wouldn't send any more in.

	4) If the other team already has a player in the snake keep plenty of fire where the snake player is located. But sometimes a snake is so big that each team can get a player in the snake. If this happens you have to keep your marker ready and watch out for the other player. Make sure you listen to your back man and use the curves of the snake as cover.

	5) If you are in the snake try to concentrate on their front and mid players. You can also take out the back players by having someone in the snake depending on your angle (that's where field walking comes in place) and where the snake is positioned at on the field. If you are in the snake and you take out the back players it should be a mop up type of game from there; squeezing players from their bunkers and setting up muggings. That's why getting a player in the snake is so important.

	6) Try to stay as low as possible when in the snake and always be in communication with your players. They are able to see more of the field than you can. It is quite difficult to stay low and then come up snap shooting this is something you have to practice before the day of the game.

	7) The main danger of playing the snake is of getting mugged. If you don't have a back player covering you or he gets eliminated expect a bunker move and always stay aware of this. There are some key signs to know when the other team is setting up a bunker move but that is a whole different article.
The main thing to do while playing the snake is to stay as low as possible when crawling and use the curves of the snake as cover and just remember if you don't have a back man for cover your as good as done. Learning how to play the snake can either win or lose a game for your team.

As the leader of a college team I am often asked "How did you do it? Get this thing started?" People look at my roster and are shocked when they see 30+ names on it. But getting to this point was no cake walk, but it was less trouble then many people would think.

Find a home: Somewhere around you is a "home field", someplace you can get to often and play at often and are prolly known by the owners/refs. This is the best place to start. Meet up with some of the walk ons who show up each week, make some friends, exchange numbers, find out when they are coming again. After a while you can make your own little group of people who play together. Then ask the ref if he can keep you all on the same team sometime…wow…did I just say team? Yeah it's really that easy.

Get organized: The first thing you'll need to figure out is who is the man in charge, someone has to make te arangements and have the final say in matters (And trust me it happens a lot that you need to have final say). That person does NOT need to be the commander on the field, but must be the off the field leader.

Where ya going?: It is important to figure out where you want to go with this team. Is this for fun? Is this to hopefully get good enough to get a sponsor? Is this an attempt to make a new pro team? Then figure out what events you want to do. 3, 5, 7, 10, x-ball?

Start small: Best place to figure out what works is to go to a local tournament or a small young guns event and try yourselves against the local talent. YES you WILL get romped. But you'll find some great teams to play with who are in your area, and remember you only get better by playing people better then you.

Sponsorship: Ah yes, that word that to many means "Free". Well I hate to break anyones bubble but the only people who get anything for free are the pro's and the am's who are good enough to be pro's. The rest of us have to deal with discount pricing and work/play deals. But DO NOT turn these offers down. One of the best and prolly first deals you should work out is if your home field will let you do a work/play deal. You work for them one day, and you play for free another day. This is how MANY teams get their practice's done. Most fields are more then happy to have you help out as it's cheaper for them, and it's better for you. That is what sponsorship is about, an agreement that helps BOTH parties. A very important thing to remember is that no one will sponsor a team unless it's good for their business. So make your name known, get in the magazines, get to big events, and meet people. A lot of it is who you know.

Live it up: At PSU we have the bonus that many of us live together, so we all kow each other both off and on the field. It is very important to trust each other and that trust is built be being together. So do non-paintball stuff. Play lasertag, go to the fair together, catch a flick….be a team.

Politics: Many people are scared of politics. Well I hate to tell you your going to deal with them. Not everyone on your team will like each other, some people will have different goals then others. As a leader you have to take each one in stride and decide if it's worth fighting for, or is it worth giving it up and letting the person "Be successful elsewhere"……

Still, no matter how many headaches I get, walking off that field, collapsing in exhaustion from our finals game, and dragging your team to the podium all teary eyed.. there is nothing like it. My teamates are now my brothers and I would never give that up.

Paintball game is a recreational activity that is competitive and enjoyed by many. It also encompasses camaraderie as you play along with friends against your opponents. Consequently, this type of outdoor game also needs some skills and agility. To improve your gaming moves, here are some paintball tips for you my friend.

Tip 1 – Choosing your paintball gun

Choosing your paintball gun to play paintball games is very essential. There are different types of paintball guns that you can choose from. You can search in online stores like Amazon.com and in other online shops that offers it.

Just make sure of the model that you want to buy since you are only thinking of your budget here. However, if you don't want to buy a paintball gun, there are also available paintball guns that you can rent on the spot in any paintball gaming areas. You can rent it per hour or depending on the deal you will ask with the paintball gun facilitator.

Also, make sure that the cartridge carbon dioxide that will pump out the paintball should always be full so that there will be no hassles to play paintball games. The paintball should also be new since ther is an expiration date of the paintball. You will notice if the paintball is not good to use when it is slimy and the inside liquid oozes out.

You must be properly geared also to protect yourself from the pain, bruises and wounds of being shot by a paintball. This is to ensure your safety while playing the game.

Tip 2 – Plan your moves

Prior to starting the game, one of the paintball tips is to plan first your moves. Whether you are moving as a solo gunner or with your team, strategic plans should be done so as to be successful in having a good game play.

You should consider the terrain, the flora and fauna of the place including the places where you and your team members will hide and take the vantage point. Remember that this type of game requires your agility and tactical abilities just like in any war movies.

Tip 3 – Implement your paintball gaming skills

Remember that your skills are important here so consider your aim and alertness. Don't just hold the paintball gun using your hands. You should also use your keen eyes in looking for your target. Be vigilant also since your opponent might be the first one to gun you with a paintball.

In case you are caught up in the line of fire, use your agility skills like jumping, crawling and hiding in places where you are not to be seen or gunned down by the opponent.

Keep in mind that in this kind of game, you should not be a "hero type". This means that you should consider your other team members skills also. Help each other in beating the opponent and for sure you will win the game.

Play paintball games is an exciting and enjoyable game for everyone. Just make sure that you have the proper equipment and body gears so as to protect yourself. Start playing with your friends and family as well and enjoy a whole day of paintball game.

Reply by Sabot03196
Pods. You can never ever have as well much ammo. I favor four off the hips but some of the Tac Vests will consider up to 8 additional pods. I also like to run a remote but that’s personal choice.

[wprebay kw="paintball+gun" num="3" ebcat="-1"]

[wprebay kw="paintball+gun" num="4" ebcat="-1"]

Knowledge Your Paintball Gun

If you are just getting began with paintball guns, it is a bit interesting to discover how they perform as effectively as what they are. You may possibly be organizing on investing some of your time on the subject playing the game that you love, but this data can aid you to make the appropriate choice when you determine to purchase your very own gun. A paintball gun is, as you might know, the tool that you will use to mark your fellow player in a game of paintball. A paintball will arrive flying out of the chamber when you set off it to. Most paintball guns operate similar to a regular gun, but the details are much different.

Here are some bits of crucial information you ought to know about the paintball gun.
– Paintball guns use speedily expanding gas. Generally it is CO2 or air. This gasoline will push the paintball out of the barrel.
– Most paintball guns array in velocity but the most widespread are individuals that have a muzzle velocity of about 300 feet per 2nd.
– This amount of force is adequate to break open the paintball when it hits its target. However, it is not difficult sufficient to break the skin, rather only sufficient at performing some mild bruising at most.
– If you program to play on a standard, industrial discipline, you will possibly be restricted to a paintball gun that is at most the 300 feet per 2nd sort.
– A single of the most important and agonizing injuries that a paintball gun can cause is eye injury. As a result, when playing you really should always have on protective gear. The truth is that there are a great deal of gamers that did not and now have blindness in that eye. Most paintball fields call for it.

Many specifics needed to be looked at and recognized when making use of and getting a paintball gun. You do not want to spend a number of hundred dollars on a gun that will not shoot straight.

There are a number of distinct variations of paintball gun hoppers. Most of the time, you will have a gun that is feed based on agitating, force feed or these that work with gravity. These methods are all distinctive. If you have an agitating or a force feed hopper you may possibly uncover that your gun does not give you the safety you need. These typically fail in the worst of instances. Most of the time this is caused by your paintball guns battery acquiring wet, which stops every little thing in its tracks. Yet, the excellent point about these sorts of hoppers is that they supply the greatest rate of fire possible, perhaps making up for their failings right here.

Another point that you require to get into consideration is your guns tank. The tank is the location of the gun that retains the compressed air that will ultimately propel your paintball to your target. For that reason it is an essential component in the determination of which paintball gun to purchase.

Most tanks are filled with liquid CO2. They can also have compressed air in them. HPA is a term you may right here. It stands for Substantial Pressure Air or you may know it as nitro, as nitrogen is a single of the main gases in air. The most standardized paintball guns will come with HPA or nitro tanks. Except if you are an occasional player with limited assets, you are probably going to want to use these alternatives.

You will also require to contemplate what type of barrel to use. You can select from measurements ranging from twelve inches, 14 inches, sixteen inches, 18 inches or twenty inches. You can have them custom made, if you are genuinely hunting for a thing distinct. When you do this, you can have them as long as 48 inches. Most paintball enthusiasts will tell you that beyond 11 inches, you do not get a greater efficiency from the barrel to warrant the bigger dimensions. Some really feel the extra dimension adds to the sighting on the barrel. In addition, lengthier barrels are much less noisy but longer than 16 inches delivers no additional gain here both. If you have a longer barrel, you will need far more propellant.

You are most likely to see manufacturers claiming about porting. Some claim that you will have much less turbulence as properly as increased accuracy with porting. Sadly, there does not look to be much fact to these statements. In addition, the a lot more porting that you have, the significantly less successful your paintball guns gasoline will be as your propellant is effortlessly escaping.

Yet another aspect to consider into consideration is the bore. This is the interior diameter of the barrel of your paintball gun. If you have a barrel that has two to 3 items, you will discover that the barrel bore is much more matched to the paintball diameter. When this is the situation, the paintball will not roll out of the barrel if you have a greater barrel. This is important if you have an auto-cocker as properly.

Lastly, you need to take into consideration the threading of the paintball gun. You want to insure that the barrel threading matches the paintball gun particularly. Some of the frequent varieties of threads incorporate autocockers, angels, shockers, sphyder, Tippmann, and Inpulse or Ion.

Which actually fashion or sort of paintball gun you select, please keep in mind that basic safety really should usually arrive initial. So constantly make sure you put on the correct protective outfits to deter damage. It is absolutely nothing but entertaining until somebody looses an eye.

Beginning Paintball – Know Before You Go

The first question to ask when going paintballing for the first time is what should I wear? Some commercial paintball parks offer fields that are indoors, however most are outside. If you’ll be playing outside, the weather may be a factor in what you choose to wear, but here are some general ideas. The most important thing in paintball clothing is to be covered; no matter how hot it is you want full coverage. The paintballs move at a very fast speed and hurt when they hit. Wearing loose clothing that covers your entire body will reduce the sting.

You want your paintball apparel to be comfortable and easy to move in. If it’s restrictive, it could slow you down and cause you to get hit and eliminated from the game quicker. You also want to consider the playing environment and what type of paintball you are playing. If you are playing scenario paintball in the woods, camouflage clothing or military fatigues are the best. Most players who enjoy speedball or tournament play wear paintball uniforms made of specific jerseys and pants, however any loose, full coverage clothing will do for either game.

Once you are on the field you will be required to wear a paintball mask. Most masks provide full coverage for the face with a lens to see through. The best masks offer thermal lenses to reduce fogging. It is crucial that your mask remain on the entire time you’re on the field, even if the tournament hasn’t started yet. The only serious injury caused from paintball is getting hit directly in the eye by a paintball; this is why protective eyewear is mandatory.

Chances are you will be at the paintball field for the whole day. Before going, think of all the things you might need or want while you’re out for the day. Paintball fields are usually located in fairly secluded areas so you’ll pretty much have to make do with what you have or do without. Most fields sell snacks but you may want to bring some of your own.

Bringing water is very important, especially on a hot day. Nothing will ruin your fun quicker than getting heat exhaustion or dehydration. Take lots of water to drink to keep you hydrated, even though the field will most likely sell water or have a water fountain; just don’t get caught without! You may also want to take a change of clothes for afterwards.

The initial equipment needed to play is a paintball gun, mask and paintball CO2 tank. If you don’t own this gear yet, you can usually rent all of it at the field or perhaps borrow some from a friend. Paintball markers aren’t difficult to use, however if you’ve never played before it’s smart to familiarize yourself with it before going out on the field. Shoot it a couple times to get the feel of it. Learn how to take it apart and put it back together in case you need to fix something during the game. Also learn how to attach/detach the air tank safely.

As far as playing the game, avoid getting shot! Use bunkers for cover and keep moving; however don’t move just to move but do so to safely advance your position towards your mission goal or target. Try not to stay frozen with fear, housed behind cover without ever firing; it’s a safe, but boring way to play. When you do need to change positions, keep as little of your body exposed as possible. The less target the enemy has to shoot, the less likely he’ll succeed. Always look before you move out from behind cover. It is a good idea to fire a few shots as you emerge as well.

With your first couple of games, mainly focus on getting a feel for the equipment and how to play. Don’t expect to be a star on your first trip to the field; that will come later with practice. Try to relax, have a good time and meet new friends. You’ll quickly discover why playing paintball is extremely addictive as you plan to go back to the field for the next several weekends!

Season 2, Episode 6. From the Attic reviews the new mini. The mini is a cocker threaded, extremely light paintball gun with the electronics in the foregrip and a gas through grip so there are no external hoses.
Tippmann 98 Custom Paintball Gun Review

The Tippmann 98 Custom is amongst the most popular paintball guns anywhere. The truth is, it is possibly the best choice for any newbie looking to get the best value for his or her dollar. So why do I say that? Simply, because the 98 Custom offers the most features and options any beginning paintball player needs without the fluff. With that in mind let’s breakdown its main features so that you can easily understand why this paintball gun is such a fantastic choice.

Tippmann paintball guns are high grade made in America markers. Tippmann is world renown for quality making quality paintball gear and the 98 custom is no exception. In reality many paintball players have termed the 98 as being the AK-47 of paintball guns. Why you ask? Because the 98 Custom can literally take a beating and go on ticking or so the expression goes. It’s true this paintball gun may be dropped, dragged in the mud and it will still shoot precisely and reliably. Very few other paintball markers can claim that. Which explains why this paintball gun is so loved, because you can trust any time it comes down to an intense action packed paintball fight, this gun will shoot every time.

More upgrades available then a game of pick up sticks. There are so many upgrades designed for this Tippmann gun that there is virtually nothing that cannot be upgraded or modified on this gun. From barrels to hoppers, to triggers you can customize this paintball marker to fit your playing style. Many of the more popular choices most paintball players add to this gun is a collapsible stock and cyclone hopper. The biggest reason why both of these upgrades are preferred is by adding a stock kit you increase stability and handling which dramatically improves your accuracy and by adding the cyclone hopper you improve your rate of fire.

This paintball gun is made to last. Now by made to last I’m not referring to its high quality manufacturing, but I’m talking about the lifespan of this paintball gun. There is nothing more frustrating to a beginning paintball player then to spend a couple hundred bucks for a gun only to discover out in a year or two they have outgrown the gun and need a new one. Not so with the Tippmann 98 because of the sheer quantity of upgrades and parts readily available for this marker you’ll never want for a better gun for a long, very long time. Actually, unless you plan on being a serious tournament style player, you will never need a high end expensive paintball marker. In that case the 98 Custom will probably be all the gun you’ll ever need.

So it’s easy to see why so many paintball players tend to play with the Tippmann 98 and why if you are considering buying a top quality marker then this might just be the paintball gun for you.

Answer by jlowes12345
i wiuld not use any paintball gun at a temerature cooler than 40 degrees farenheight because the gas will lose pressure and the ball will not go as far plus it will be harder for the ball to break since it is kinda hard at that point. other than that outside is a lot of fun
